Today Magic Kingdom park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida and Disneyland & Disney California Adventure parks in Anaheim, California are celebrating the start of summer with 24-hour events by encouraging guests to “Rock Your Disney Side”! From 6am Friday May 23rd – 6am Saturday May 24th (EDT/PDT respectively), guests will have an opportunity to party while showing off their Disney Sides in the midst of the magic.
If you (like us) can’t make it to either coast for this celebration, the folks at Walt Disney World have made it easy to follow along with the magic from the comfort of your own home! Once again, there is a live webcam situated atop the Main Street Railroad Station with a perfect view straight down Main Street to reveal Cinderella Castle in all her glory. Follow along as the brand new “Festival of Fantasy” parade rolls down the street, or watch as the “Wishes” fireworks display lights up the Magic Kingdom. During the last 24-hour event, there were many surprises including a message to Disneyland Cast Members from Walt Disney World Cast Members…so you never know what you might see on the webcam! The only downside is that there is no audio feed…but that can be remedied by either well timed YouTube videos, or streaming music.
UPDATE: It has come to my attention that there are webcams at the Disneyland Resort available for the event as well, so I am updating the links as I find them.

Disney Parks music: There is a ‘Main Street’ station that plays only music from Main Street, among many other options. This is a wonderful site for getting a Disney fix (and there are lots of fantastic people there too)!
